Salon V'Co Co-owners, Victor Manuell and Corey Bastean and Doreen Batchelor, Owner of Lake Zurich's House of Betty Jane joined forces in 2016 to support Harmony 4 Hope in their musical mission to fuel scientific discoveries in Rare Disease, educate community and uplift children with their annual playlist and gifts of music. Dozens of people gathered to hear the LIVE music of several local student musicians and also the sweet sounds of Loren Reid Seaman on the mic. As a result of this community event H4H will deliver gifts of music to over 100 children this summer. In addition, we will direct Salon V'Co's event proceeds to our growing Research Fund supporting Batten Disease at Chicago's Rush University Medical Center.

"There are approximately 7,000 Rare Diseases collectively impacting 350,000,000 people worldwide; half of these people are children. For this reason we are gathering people through music - something we all have in common, to deliver our mission for this critical cause." Says Kerry Hughes, Founder of the Lake Zurich based charity organization, Harmony 4 Hope.

"You may find that many children in your own community with special needs are impacted by one of these Rare Diseases that has no treatment or cure. We believe that music unites people and we believe in fueling scientific discoveries at the very basic level in the hopes of unlocking solutions for the future of Rare many Diseases. Music is the vehicle helping us achieve that mission!"
